New BirdFour E-Scooters: A Commitment to Sustainability
Bird Canada is excited to launch the Mississauga program with its newest e-scooter, the BirdFour, designed with sustainability at its core. The BirdFour’s innovative swappable battery system significantly reduces Vehicle Kilometers Travelled (VKT) by allowing for easy battery exchanges rather than replacing entire devices. This advancement supports Bird Canada’s goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2024 by enabling more sustainable operations with smaller electric vehicles for battery transportation.
Key Features of the BirdFour E-Scooter:
- Turn Signals for Enhanced Safety: The BirdFour is the first scooter in Ontario to feature built-in turn signals, enhancing rider safety by clearly indicating directional intentions.
- Swappable Battery for Sustainability: The BirdFour’s innovative swappable battery system is a significant advancement towards a net-zero future, as it helps reduce the overall carbon footprint. This system minimizes Vehicle Kilometers Travelled (VKT) by facilitating easy battery exchanges instead of replacing entire devices.
- Convenient Phone Holder with Charger: Equipped with a phone holder and charger, the BirdFour ensures riders can stay connected and powered up on the go.
